A Taste of What You’ll Do
At Gallo, our Maintenance Technicians play a critical role in keeping our Central Coast winery operations running safely, efficiently, and at the highest quality standards. In this role, you’ll provide hands-on mechanical maintenance and repair support across a variety of winery systems and equipment, contributing directly to our ability to deliver world‑class products every day.
You’ll spend your time troubleshooting machinery issues, repairing and replacing defective components, and reassembling equipment to ensure it performs to specification. From preventative maintenance to responding to emergency calls, your work will help minimize downtime and keep production moving. You’ll work on both large and small pieces of machinery, interpret technical documents such as prints and manuals, and apply your mechanical knowledge to a wide range of winery operations.
Collaboration is key at Gallo, and you’ll maintain strong cross‑functional relationships while supporting assigned projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Safety and quality are non‑negotiable, and you’ll promote occupational safety standards, follow shop safety and housekeeping practices, and provide feedback that helps others work safely.
This role also offers variety—supporting barrel processing, bottling and filtration equipment, crush and press operations, general facility maintenance, and travel between winery sites as business needs require. If you enjoy hands‑on problem solving, working with diverse equipment, and being part of a team that values ownership and innovation, this is an opportunity to grow your maintenance career with Gallo.
