This position will support Napa region facilities. 

This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.

 

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for smooth operation of production through meticulous planning and scheduling. This role thrives on making sure that every detail, from the initial work request to the final review of completed jobs, is handled with precision and care. In this role, you will be the backbone of our production maintenance activities, determining the necessary scope, materials, equipment, and safety precautions to complete work efficiently and effectively. You will oversee the continuous improvement of our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), working closely with Maintenance and Engineering teams to keep our systems up-to-date and running smoothly. Your ability to organize and plan tasks, leveraging your technical knowledge and collaborating with Technicians and Maintenance Supervision, will be key to our success. Your responsibilities will also include writing detailed technical procedures, managing inventories, and ensuring that our equipment Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Job Plan library are meticulously maintained. This person must have strong communication, as you'll work closely with other Planners, Team Leaders, and partners across Operations, Winemaking, and Supply Chain to coordinate complex jobs and align on weekly maintenance schedules.

 

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $84,800 - $127,200
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of maintenance administration or technical maintenance experience with industrial manufacturing machinery reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of maintenance administration or technical maintenance experience with industrial manufacturing machinery reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Required to climb stairs and ladders; comfortable working at heights.
  • Required to participate in 24-hour on-call shifts, swing and graveyard shifts.
  • Candidates for this position must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record. Required to obtain a California driver’s license or appropriate state driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering plus 4 years of technical maintenance experience with industrial manufacturing machinery reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or equipment manuals/drawings.
  • Skilled in the use of SAP or other related CMMS, Microsoft Office Suite of tools, and data warehouses at a basic level.
  • Experience disassembling malfunctioning equipment, examining/testing mechanisms and circuitry for defects.
  • Experience reassembling equipment and performing tests for conformance to specifications.
  • Experience inspecting and calibrating instruments; testing equipment periodically and adjusts calibration to ensure functioning within specified standards.
