Guest Ambassadors are the first point of contact for each guest that visits our tasting room. They will ensure a dedication to the highest quality of customer satisfaction delivered with a sense of graciousness, pride, fun, and Rombauer spirit. With a professional and welcoming demeanor, they will greet all guests including reservations and walk-up visitors. They will use their knowledge to lead the guest to the best possible experience to fit their needs while keeping the overall daily availability top of mind. They will manage the flow of traffic while also being a resource to their teammates.

A Taste of What You’ll Do
- Guest Ambassador & Consumer Relations (60%)
- Welcome and check in guests, including walk-ins and reservations, tailoring experiences to special needs or occasions.
- Manage seating and reservations, ensuring smooth flow and communication across staff.
- Provide guests with necessary materials and amenities for their visit.
- Handle POS transactions, respond to inquiries, and maintain accurate records.
- Report guest feedback and anticipate customer needs.
- Retail Sales Support (30%)
- Maintain tasting and retail areas, ensuring cleanliness, stock levels, and seasonal displays.
- Monitor inventory, restock supplies, and support warehouse organization.
- Ensure guest bathrooms and patio spaces are clean and welcoming.
- Retail Sales (10%)
- Operate “By the Glass” service, package wines correctly, and provide winery education during transactions.
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 1 year of hospitality, customer service or event support experience.
- Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
- Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
- Skilled in carrying-out simple instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Required to be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Required to work holidays, evenings and weekend’s (Saturday and Sunday) at various hours. Work schedule subject to change based on needs of the business.
- Experience in a team-oriented environment.
- Skilled in conflict resolution.
- Lift and move up to 45 lbs.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
How You’ll Stand Out
- Associates degree; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of hospitality, customer service or event support experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Experience in wine industry.
- Experience in Point of Sale (Commerce 7 and Tock) systems.
- Skilled in the use of MS Outlook and MS Excel at a basic level.
- Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills, especially attention to detail.
- Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.

- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
- This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
