Summary

 

Manages the Fetch partnership on behalf of the winery, including, business relationship management, brand offer strategies, and reporting. Collaborates cross-functionally with BUs, Commerce Marketing, Sales, Analytics, IT, Media, and CRM to optimize Gallo’s value from the Fetch partnership. 

 

Essential Function

 

  • Central point-person and subject matter expert on Fetch partnership.
  • Responsible for developing Fetch partnership capabilities and best-practices, including marketing activation strategy, portfolio initiatives, offer performance management, and identifying and vetting new opportunities.
  • Communicates Fetch best practices cross-functionally throughout the organization.
  • Develops and manages processes, resources, documentation,and budget.
  • Leads cross-functional process with Marketing and Commerce teams to develop promotional calendar, plan programming, and execute marketing activation.
  • Works closely with Fetch to execute marketing placements and optimize campaigns to achieve desired incremental Return On Advertising Spend (iROAS) targets.
  • Partner with Analytics to conducts performance analysis for individual programs and the overall partnership.
  • Partners with Analytics to set process for performance analyses with partner and socializing performance results cross-functionally throughout the organization. 
  • Interfaces with multiple levels and departments within the organization to influence their strategy and activation with Fetch.
  • Makes brand and portfolio recommendations for activation elements and appropriate investment levels, being mindful of broader rebate partners and market pricing dynamics
  • Cultivates relationships with Fetch to develop understanding of their capabilities and how to best leverage these capabilities for Gallo’s benefit.
  • Develops positive relationships with Marketing, Commerce, Analytics, and other cross-functional departments.
  • Educates Marketing and Commerce organizations on "Best Practices" concepts, philosophies, capabilities and innovations for Fetch.
  • SME on Retailer media at Gallo, up to date on customer platforms and initiatives as well as the legal and competitive dynamics
  • Champions the adoption of new capabilities to better perform job functions and to support organizational objectives.
  • Represents the department in cross-functional team based activities and meetings with internal or external customers.
  • Monitors business expenses (meals, transportation, lodging, etc.).
  • Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Master’s degree plus 6 years of Gallo or partner distributor sales or marketing experience or CPG sales or marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of Gallo or partner distributor sales or marketing experience or CPG sales or marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 12 years of Gallo or partner distributor sales or marketing experience or CPG sales or marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Master’s degree plus 8 years of winery sales, customer development account management, commerce marketing, or e-commerce experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of winery sales, customer development account management, commerce marketing, or e-commerce experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. 
  • Gallo commerce marketing experience and experience with lower-funnel activation tactics.
  • Experience managing strategic vendor partnerships on behalf of the organization.
  • Skilled in communication, project management and analysis.
  • Experience completing assignments that are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity.
  • Experience with ambiguous assignments and developing/commercializing “new-to-winery” capabilities.
  • Experience with e-commerce and digital marketing. Technologically savvy.
  • High level of comfort with rapidly changing technology landscape and shifting business opportunities.
  • Experience with writing reports and business correspondence.
  • Skilled in the use of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
  • Skilled in interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Skilled in solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Compensation

  • Hiring Pay Range: $51.83 - $77.79/Hour
  • Actual compensation amount paid may be lower or higher to be determined by factors other than race and gender such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
