As an Influencer Marketing Manager in our newly established Consumer & Lifestyle Marketing department, you will oversee the strategic planning and execution of all Influencer Marketing efforts across the entire Gallo portfolio. You will build strategic relationships with social media influencers, paid ambassadors, and spokespeople across the marketing spectrum and will maintain a positive working relationship with targeted partners. As a subject matter expert, you will ensure Gallo's influencer marketing is industry-leading, delivering ‘best-in-class’ thought leadership, and driving brand equity.
What You Will Do
- Creates, implements, assesses and stewards the strategic framework governing influencer marketing.
- Leads the fiscal budget planning process with brand marketing partners and business leadership.
- Builds and sustains working relationships with brand marketing teams, departmental colleagues, cross-functional peers and marketing leadership to sustain and grow influencer marketing capabilities.
- Evaluates key learnings from influencer marketing efforts, thereby enabling successful ‘search & spin’ and providing thoughtful, comprehensive recaps and recommendations to improve upon future performance and results.
- Screens and assesses all opportunities in order to determine relevance, extent of exposure and financial implications for influencer marketing initiatives.
- Mapping, vetting, contracting and managing influencer relationships
- Maintains understanding of compliance within the adult beverage industry
- Oversees and manages external agency, vendor and/or third party supplier partnerships – including contract negotiations
- Partners with senior management across the organization
- Develops or approves recommendations impacting influencer marketing governance to change systems, policies, and procedures, while ensuring timely and accurate implementation.
- Participates in department and intra-departmental planning meetings as requested
- Delivers organizational leadership and guidance on the development of all influencer-focused campaigns that are either earned or paid-for talent supporting select priority wine & spirits brands.
- Delivers forward-thinking, best-in-class, thought leadership on influencer marketing by successfully advancing and implementing emerging trends and industry standards
- Leads and administers best-in-class influencer marketing practices and delivers intermittent training as needed
- Assesses influencer marketing efforts via measurement and evaluation in order to maximize brand exposure, advocacy and endorsement- establishes a set of common metrics or analytics
- Serves as an external ambassador on behalf of E&J Gallo and, at all times, represents the corporate values with the highest of integrity.
What You Will Need
- Master’s degree plus 4 years of influencer marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; -OR- Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of influencer marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; -OR- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 10 years of influencer marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Required to travel up to 20% of the time.
What Will Set You Apart
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration with a Marketing, Public Relations concentration plus 6 years of influencer marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Influencer marketing and/or PR agency experience preferred.
- Skilled in reading, analyzing and interpreting consumer-centric, editorial focused and/or influencer-dominated content, financial reports and legal documents.
- Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from social media influencers, customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
- Experience responding effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
- Experience making effective and persuasive presentations to marketing clients, management, public groups or boards of directors.
- Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing solid conclusions.
- Experience working within strict budgets, negotiating with outside vendors, working with legal team members on contract negotiations, overseeing all areas of influencer marketing execution.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with all levels and functions within the company.
