Are you passionate about leading and developing a dynamic team in the viticulture industry?
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative leader to join our team and drive excellence in vineyard management and farming techniques. In this role, you will lead a diverse group of individuals with varying levels of experience and education, ensuring high-quality performance and exceptional service to both internal and external customers. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining operational budgets, ensuring adherence to safety measures, and advancing viticulture techniques.
As a leader, you will communicate and interpret organizational directives to align team and individual objectives. You will supervise daily work scheduling, employee assignments, and act as a liaison within the organization. Your role will include providing input on team member performance, facilitating team meetings, and managing short-term projects. You will also be responsible for conducting presentations and formal training programs, ensuring a safe working environment, and achieving set goals and timelines.

What You Will Need:

Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of ranch operations experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibly; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate, plus 8 years of ranch operations experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

Required to travel to various company owned ranches along the coast (to include extended hours, weekend and late night assignments).

Required to possess or obtain a California Pest Control License or Applicator License.

Required to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver’s license based on the position’s location within 30 days of hire.

Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. Compensation:
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $93,300 -$139,900 / year
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
