We are seeking a dynamic Learning and Development Instructional Designer to join our team in North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for designing a wide range of advanced learning solutions that are not only effective but also engaging and, at times, complex. Your expertise will be pivotal in developing comprehensive curriculum and instructional materials, leveraging technology to enhance learning outcomes and ensuring alignment with educational objectives.
As an Instructional Designer, you will work closely with subject matter experts to develop diverse content, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training, and blended learning solutions. Your role will involve translating complex information into accessible and understandable learning materials, creating assessments to measure learner progress, and continuously refining content based on feedback. You will also be responsible for staying abreast of best practices and integrating technology into instructional design to create cutting-edge learning experiences.

What You'll Need
- Bachelor's Degree plus 4 years of training and development or adult learning instructional design experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 8 years of training and development or adult learning instructional design experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Intermediate skills in developing content using Articulate, including Storyline and Rise.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office including PowerPoint.
- Comprehensive experience working in an environment that requires regular communication using interpersonal skills to create and maintain collaborative working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders about service expectations and quality.
- Extensive experience working on multiple unrelated projects and setting priorities per corporate goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal communication, conflict resolution and change management.
- Extensive experience building strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to influence others without direct authority.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
