A Taste of What You'll Do
Join GALLO as a Team Leader and help create a safe, high-performing, and inclusive operations environment. You will lead a team with varied experiences and backgrounds, supporting daily manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain activities while delivering excellent service to internal and external customers. Your leadership will help team members grow, solve problems, and contribute their perspectives to continuous improvement.
In this role, you will guide day-to-day work, coordinate with cross-functional partners, develop daily plans, communicate floor status, and support workforce planning and timekeeping. You will coach and mentor team members through regular 1:1 conversations, goal setting, performance feedback, and development opportunities. You will also participate in talent selection, support organizational change, contribute to investigations when needed, and help foster collaborative labor relations where applicable. Safety, quality, and compliance are central to this position. You will teach and reinforce safe work practices, food safety expectations, Good Manufacturing Practices, standard work, Job Safety Analyses, and environmental and regulatory requirements. You will proactively identify hazards, participate in incident and near-miss investigations, use data to guide meaningful safety conversations, and support site response during urgent situations.
You will build technical knowledge of the processes and equipment in your area, apply LEAN principles, and lead practical problem-solving efforts. You will also support budget execution by monitoring staffing, materials usage, forecasts, weekly reconciliations, trends, and countermeasures. We welcome leaders who communicate clearly, value different viewpoints, act with accountability, and create an environment where every team member can do their best work.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s degree; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of production, operations or logistics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of supervisory/managerial experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of military operations experience to include leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Required to work shifts as scheduled.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

How You'll Stand Out
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Management plus 2 years of manufacturing operations management, or logistics operations management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Technical production/operations or technical maintenance experience.
- Experience leading high performance work teams and providing motivation to achieve plan goals.
- Supervisory or managerial experience; demonstrates team building, leadership and mentoring skills.
- Experience using a production work management system.
- Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Consumer Package Goods experience.
- Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
- Experience interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and dealing with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Experience with MS Office Suite.
- Skilled at handling confidential or sensitive information.
- Experience working with all levels and functions within the Company.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and overcome obstacles; stress tolerance.

The Fine Print

- We offer a broad salary range to allow for long-term growth. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
- This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
