Reporting to the Director of IS Sales Systems, you will serve as an IT business partner for domestic Field Sales, distributors, and key customers. You will support the development and leads the field implementation of Sales IT strategy specific to technology adoption, usage, enhancements, feedback, and training for the domestic sales organization. Additionally, you will manage a team of regional Sales technology professionals to ensure high levels of Sales engagement, standardized collection and prioritization of IT requests, and drives adoption & usage of existing and future Sales technology.

What You Will Do

  • Function as a strategic consultant to business leadership to proactively provide solutions that drive business initiatives
  • Serve as a IT business partner for domestic Field Sales, distributors and key customer personnel
  • Lead the field implementation of Sales IT strategy specific to usage, adoption, feedback, enhancements, and training
  • Lead and develop a team of regional Sales Technology professionals driving high performance and engagement with business partners
  • Develop standard process and cadence to drive high levels of engagement, awareness, adoption, and standard use of technology within Sales
  • Lead the development of a strategic short and long term Sales Technology training roadmap
  • Support feedback loop and BETA testing of all Sales applications for new technology enhancements and rollouts
  • Develop, execute, track, and manage continuous improvement of Sales Systems application training. This includes Sales, Distributors, and Marketing personnel, and encompasses NET-1 (Sales New Hire Training & Orientation)

What You Need

  • High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 9 years of information technology, sales, customer development, or distributor management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility OR Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery sales, customer development, or distributor management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
  • Valid driver’s license. Required to obtain a California driver’s license or appropriate state driver’s license within 30 days of hire
  • Required to travel up to 50% of the time by air or car, with 20% of time spent Regional Sales offices
  • Possesses training knowledge of IRI (Unify, & canned reports), Tableau, GCO, & other Category Management tools/ resources

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 11 years of information technology, sales, customer development, or distributor management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility OR Bachelor’s degree plus 9 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery sales, customer Development or distributor Management reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
  • Exhibits leadership responsibilities and strong technical understanding in day-to-day project work
