Gallo's Spirits Bottling department is seeking an inspiring Operations Manager to lead our dynamic team with a focus on excellence and continuous improvement. In this role, you will manage and maintain 24-hour responsibility for one or more areas, including Cellar, Bottling, or Warehouse functions. Your mission will be to ensure that our teams safely deliver superior quality and quantity on time and at the lowest cost, while adhering to our organization's policies and procedures.
As an Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include developing and executing business plans, managing safety, quality, and cost performance, and ensuring compliance with safety, security, and sanitation programs. You will play a crucial role in recommending long-term labor strategies and capital equipment needs to senior management, and you will ensure effective communication plans are in place for all employees.
Your leadership will be essential in maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating with Human Resources to resolve grievances. You will ensure that our finished product quality standards are consistently met and that our strategies align with the company's vision and goals. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining operating budgets and capital spending plans, identifying and developing staff capabilities, and monitoring the achievement of performance goals.
In addition to managing daily operations, you will oversee mid to long-term projects and provide cross-functional representation for various initiatives. Your ability to balance daily management efforts with long-term planning will be key to our continued success. You will also ensure that industry best practices are applied and that employees receive the necessary training.

What You Need
- Master's degree plus 4 years of production, operations, or logistics management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Master’s degree plus 5 years of military operations and leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of production, operations, or logistics management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of military operations and leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR 10 years of production, operations, or logistics management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Supervisory or management experience.
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
What Will Set You Apart
- Master's degree plus 5 years of manufacturing operations management or logistics operations management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR
- Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of production, operations, or logistics management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
- Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
- Experience working with all levels and functions within the company.
- Experience leveraging skills and abilities of front line employees.
Compensation:
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $118,600 - $178,000 / year
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
