Under general supervision, you will apply and ensure the execution of food safety, quality assurance procedures, and quality systems. As a functional liaison, you will ensure consistent alignment of quality assurance objectives and provide support in driving supplier quality performance specified in contract agreements, winery policies, and brand protection expectations.
In this dynamic role, you will investigate ideas and opportunities to improve our company’s competitiveness, enhance throughput, and reduce operational costs. You will implement operations policies, procedures, systems, and strategies against corporate quality standards. As Quality’s primary contact being quality and food safety issues, you will drive audits and corrective actions with external and internal partners, execute gap plans, and present updates to Quality and Operations management.
Your responsibilities will include facilitating, performing root-cause analysis for quality, food safety related issues, applying statistical techniques to sampling protocols, and conducting monthly quality reviews with suppliers and the operations team. You will develop quality assurance reports, communicate results, and support supplier quality improvement through targeted projects. Additionally, you will execute qualifications and verification programs to assure brand protection and specification conformance.

What You Will Need:

Bachelor's degree Food Science, Enology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biology plus 2 years of quality assurance/quality control, production, operations, winemaking, or engineering experience reflecting increasing levels or responsibility. OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of quality assurance/quality control, production, operations, winemaking, or engineering experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. Compensation:

Hiring Salary Range Posted: $68,640 - $93,700 / year

Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
