A Taste of What You'll Do

Join GALLO as Manager, Operations Finance, Glass and help shape the financial and operational performance of a dynamic business unit. In this influential leadership role, you will manage financial planning, forecasting, capital expenditure planning, and budget tracking while developing a high-performing administrative team.

 

You will partner across departments to evaluate business models, operating systems, and procedures, turning insights into practical recommendations that improve cost, quality, and organizational performance. Using meaningful metrics and thoughtful analysis, you will identify continuous improvement opportunities, track project savings, build strategic financial plans, and guide capital investment decisions.

 

As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you will translate trends and complex financial information into clear recommendations. You will help align cross-functional teams around key performance indicators, strategic measurements, and long-term priorities while balancing daily business needs. Your leadership will foster accountability, strengthen capabilities, and support an environment where people and processes can thrive.

 

What You'll Need

  • MBA degree plus 4 years of finance, accounting, audit, military, operations, supply chain, sales, consulting, engineering or wine industry experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years finance, accounting, audit, economics, statistics, engineering or mathematics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of Gallo experience to include 2 years of finance, audit, accounting, economics, statistic or mathematics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Leadership experience to include coaching and developing others or managing complex or cross-functional projects.
  • Experience with MS Word and MS Excel at an intermediate level.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

 

How You'll Stand Out

  • MBA degree plus 6 years of finance, accounting, military, operations, supply chain, sales, consulting, engineering or wine industry experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years finance, accounting, audit, economics, statistics, engineering or mathematics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of Gallo experience to include 4 years of finance, audit, accounting, economics, statistic or mathematics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Prior supervisory or managerial experience; Experience with financial planning and reporting.
  • Excellent demonstrated negotiation and communication skills; Comfortable and effective in the role of change agent.
  • Solid performance record of building successful relationships; Management strength to provide motivational guidance and direction.

The Fine Print

  • We offer a broad salary range to allow for long-term growth. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
  • This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting with an option for occasional telecommuting. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
