Pairing Your Brand Expertise with Gallo Winery

As a champion of brand excellence, you will oversee specific brand-building initiatives that will lead to the implementation of strategic marketing objectives for new brands. Working closely with our Consumer and Product Insights (C&PI) team, you’ll lead new brand initiatives across multiple marketing platforms.

 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead financial development with Finance and gains alignment of leadership.
  • Lead forecasting with Sales Planning & Demand team; presents to senior leadership.
  • Lead communication Strategy plan coming out of BSP and briefs Creative Services.
  • Lead pricing recommendation based on category.
  • Lead development of test success metrics alongside I&I and Sales.
  • Lead recommendation of test Market Design/Go To Market alongside Sales Planning & other Channel leads.
  • Lead marketing plan for test launch and works with the future brand team, Sales and customers.
  • Act as the agency lead for all test launch marketing activities.
  • Lead interaction with Sales, Shopper and other test market participants (including GSM presentations, sales decks).
  • Lead monitoring of test performance and Optimizes when needed.
  • Lead monthly and ad hoc senior leadership presentations on test market updates and plans.
  • Act as the A&P lead throughout all stages of development and test launch.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations.  If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

 

What You’ll Need

  • Master’s degree plus 5 years of communications, finance, marketing, supply chain/supply planning, process development, new product development, project management, process engineering, or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

OR

Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of communications, finance, marketing, supply chain/supply planning, process development, new product development, project management, process engineering, or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

OR

Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of Gallo experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

  • Experience effectively presenting information to top management, public groups and boards of directors.
  • Skilled in working on cross functional teams.
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

 

What will Set You Apart

  • Master of Business Administration degree plus 3 years of Gallo brand marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Multiple Gallo marketing rotations.
  • Experience training and developing junior level brand marketers in executing brand and organizational objectives.
  • Experience managing business operations and leveraging basic finance and accounting principles.
  • Skilled in reading, analyzing and interpreting common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. 
  • Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. 
  • Experience writing speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. 
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Skilled in interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Experience performing work that is complex and varied in nature, requiring frequent evaluation, originality or ingenuity.
  • Skilled in the use of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS database at an intermediate level; IRI, Brio and Spectra at a basic level.
