Reporting to the Director of Information Services you will manage the IT Operations Team for the following functions: Oracle and SQL Databases, Integration, Middleware, applicable software license management, vendor relationships, knowledge of all software applications associated with the team’s technologies.     Knowledge of networks, servers, security and personal computers, etc. to support the business needs of internal customers is critical.

What You Will Do

Project Management:

  • You will lead planning, facilitation, implementation, and support of large and complex projects and project portfolios across multiple areas for internal and 3rd party professionals
  • You will own and manage corporate databases (Oracle, SQL), Integration and Middleware and Integration software (DataStage, Tibco-Business Works, WebLogic, etc.), as well as emerging technologies (SAP PI/PO, Denodo)
  • You will manage a team and collaborate with internal/external Apps and Server teams for joint success.
  • You will establish Best in Class policies, documentation, and training as needed with a Lean Six Sigma mindset.
  • You will meet project commitments including communications with sponsors and stakeholders, managing project budget, and resource allocation
  • You will be responsible for all SOX compliance, reporting, and audits of databases & team processes
  • You will manage software updates and security patches coordinating schedules with your customers
  • You will utilize Service Now for managing and meeting SLAs for Incident and Change Management tickets
  • You will be responsible for managing off shore support staff


  • You will create solutions that both work within and advance architectural objectives and standards
  • You will identify opportunities for creating reusable enterprise services and bridge complex business problems to technology solutions
  • You will analyze business and user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve, create and design complex solutions
  • You will be knowledgeable on existing software:   Oracle DB, MS-SQL DB, DataStage, Tibco-Business Works,  WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache, etc. 


  • You will build long-term relationships between multiple business partners to drive engagement in IT strategy
  • You will influence business partner decision making to optimize requirements prioritization and utilization of existing technologies
  • You will effectively lead teams through conflict between multiple business partners
  • You will educate IT teams and suppliers on project business technical context
  • You will communicate complex topics to support project and organizational change objectives

What You Need

  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Bachelor's plus 5 years of Information Systems experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or 9 years of Information Systems experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility to include supervisory or managerial experience

What Will Set You Apart

  • Master's degree
  • SAP experience
  • Knowledge of Data lake and data warehouse fundamentals
