A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

During your 10-week MBA Supply Chain Internship at Gallo, you will work on real-world projects that have a direct impact on our business, such as improving inventory management, reducing transportation costs, and enhancing customer service.  These projects will give you exposure to leadership in our functional areas and business, while also challenging you to apply your knowledge and expertise to real business problems.  Our interns work on highly-visible assignments in Supply Chain and are a direct pipeline to our full time MBA Supply Chain Strategic Leadership Development Program (SLDP).

Our MBA Supply Chain Strategic Leadership Development Program (SLDP) will give you the opportunity to drive your career and make an impact right away. You’ll receive challenging Supply Chain assignments that give you broad exposure to our growing business and leadership. You’ll develop robust expertise in multiple areas of Supply Chain or have the opportunity to move cross-functionally to other departments depending on your goals. Supply Chain OPPORTUNITIES:

The Supply Chain SLDP program is designed to be an accelerated track to develop future leaders of the Supply Chain organization. Common first department assignments include:

  • Supply Planning: Drive Strategy and execution for material planning, finished goods inventory, and Sales and Operation Planning 
  • New Products & Development:  Lead cross-functional project teams to bring new products to market 
  • Customer Service: Balance cost, quality, and service by leading process reengineering projects for our Logistics, Distribution, and Customer Service Teams 
  • Quality:  Drive strategic process and system improvements in the Quality Services organization to create transformational change that will better support production, R&D, and food safety requirements 
  • Sourcing: Align the needs of the marketing and supply chain organizations by leading negotiations with suppliers 

 

What You'll Need:

  • Currently enrolled in the first year of an MBA degree program
  • Three years of full-time work experience prior to beginning your MBA
  • Required be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description
  • Experience effectively presenting information to top management groups. 

 

HOW YOU'LL STAND OUT:

  • Currently enrolled in a first year MBA program with a supply chain/operations concentration
  • Four years of full-time work experience prior to beginning your MBA
  • Superior strategic, creative, and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Proven leadership skills, business acumen, and communications skills
