As a Manager of Sales Data & Analytics, you will manage data systems and reports to support sales insights in order to support the business needs of internal and external customers.

What You Will Do

Data & Analytics Management:

  • Develop actionable Insights through 3rd party studies and use of primary sources data so that sales can leverage information.
  • Manage current data vendor relationships such as with IRI, Nielsen, etc.  Continue to evaluate new vendors to provide insights.
  • Support ad hoc projects of sales organization and organize training of tools
  • Function as a Business Relationship Manager to sales organization (Customer Development, On-premise, retail) and support Senior Leadership as needed.
  • Consult and interface with information systems personnel, vendors, customers, and management in
  • Evaluate data & insights resources of internal customers and recommends changes to better support business needs.

People Leadership:

  • Coach, mentor and develop the skills of the Sales Data & Analytics Team,  who support all tactical execution of day to day operations, while assigning, monitoring and reviewing the progress and accuracy of assigned work
  • Set and manage performance expectations for direct reports
  • Identify and obtain staff capabilities needed to accomplish organizational directives
  • Conduct performance evaluations; recommend salary adjustments; reward employees or take disciplinary action, as necessary; address complaint and resolve issues
  • Implements a successful vision/strategy, through strong leadership skills and business case development

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of information systems, category management/ sales or business analytics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
  • Supervisory/managerial experience

What Will Set You Apart

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, MIS, mathematics or engineering, plus 7 years of information systems experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • MBA/Master's degree
  • Retail sales experience
  • Data visualization experience
