A Taste of What You’ll Do

Under general supervision, you’ll play an important role in supporting the quality and consistency of our winery products by performing physical, chemical, and microbiological analysis of grapes, grape products, alcoholic beverages, water, and related materials. Your work will directly support winemaking and quality teams by ensuring accurate testing, timely reporting, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

In this hands-on laboratory role, you’ll support microbiological analysis activities such as sample plating, plate reading, sample collection, and sanitation monitoring. You’ll help prepare media, sterilize bottles, prepare laboratory solutions, and assist with maintaining clean, organized analytical and micro-labs. You’ll also collect and deliver wine samples on a scheduled basis from the cellar, bottling room, and MSC to the WAM laboratory.

You’ll log sample results into the laboratory information management system so winemakers, team leaders, operations managers, and quality leadership have real-time visibility into product quality. You’ll generate status and sample reports, follow response plans when samples fall outside of tolerance, and contribute ideas to improve laboratory practices.

This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork. If you’re eager to make a meaningful impact while growing your career, we encourage you to apply!
