A Taste of What You'll Do
Join GALLO as a Finance Intern and gain hands-on experience with a family-owned company with a 90+ year legacy and a portfolio of 130+ wine, malt, spirits, and ready-to-drink beverage brands. As part of the Finance & Accounting teams, you’ll have the opportunity to bring fresh perspective, curiosity, and analytical thinking to meaningful business challenges.
In this 10-week internship, you’ll support financial and business-related analysis, research, and special projects that help inform recommendations for management. You’ll prepare work plans and schedules, analyze areas such as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investment, and contribute to reports that identify options and recommended actions.
This role is designed for students who are self-motivated, collaborative, and ready to apply their field of study in a fast-paced business environment. You’ll build practical skills, strengthen your communication abilities, and gain exposure to the personal involvement of management in your development while learning how finance helps shape business decisions.
What You'll Need
- Currently enrolled at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, OR Economics to be obtained between X date and Y date.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
How You'll Stand Out
- Rising Junior or Senior class standing at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Audit, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or Mathematics.
- Experience with MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word, Outlook and JDE.
- Knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of this particular field of specialization.

The Fine Print

- We offer a broad salary range to allow for long-term growth. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
- This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting with an option for occasional telecommuting. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
