As an E-Commerce Business Manager, you will act as a business owner in ensuring success of our eCommerce business to include leading Gallo’s aggregator site, The Barrel Room. You will have the opportunity to lead a team in the development and execution of strategic online marketing plans to drive sales to our brand sites within our portfolio.

 

Please note: this position has flexibility to work remote in U.S.

 

What You Will Do

 

  • Spearheads the eCommerce strategy for our brands to meet revenue forecasts, grow our understanding of the consumer and provide consumer obsessed experiences.
    • Coordinates with internal teams and provides support to all online marketing strategies.
    • Prioritizes projects and recommends ways to increase traffic to website with incorporation of best tools and assist to maximize revenue.
    • Prepares reports and maintains track of all activities on websites, performs tests and participates in all website conversations to recommend improvements in strategies to increase customer retention and design site content.
  • Develops, drives and socializes all eCommerce activities and incorporates best practices to design effective strategies and implement all department strategy and analyze all information and recommend improvements.
    • Develops and maintains effective relationships with all web designers and programmers in order to effectively implement all social media strategies, marketing campaigns, and preparation of newsletters.
  • Owns the weekly review meeting inclusive of designing, preparing and sharing reports for all KPIs and achieve all growth objectives and callout insights:
    • Analyzes all ecommerce site transactions and recommends improvements to enhance customer experience. Assists all external partners and provides support to all associate activities as well as monitors and helps to resolve all site issues.
    • Analyzes online experience of customer and recommends improvements to assess effectiveness of all key metrics. Monitor all vendor service level agreements to ensure optimal quality of services to customer.
  • Monitors and ensures the achievement of performance goals and objectives
  • Identifies and obtains staff capabilities needed to accomplish objectives.
  • Develops, coaches and mentors peers, indirect and subordinate staff.

 

What You Will Need

 

  • Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of channel or alcohol beverages sales, finance, marketing, supply chain or e-commerce experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Master’s degree plus 4 years of channel or alcohol beverage sales, finance, marketing, supply chain, or e-commerce experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 10 years of alcohol beverage sales, finance, marketing, supply chain or ecommerce experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Supervisory or managerial experience.
  • 2 years of specific e-commerce marketing experience.
  • Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel at an intermediate level.
  • Ability to effectively partner cross functionally.
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and convey meaningful messages with stakeholders through written communications, email, presentations, etc.
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, collaborative and have the ability to work independently.

 

What Will Set You Apart

 

    • Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of channel or alcohol beverages sales, finance, marketing, supply chain or e-commerce experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Master’s degree plus 6 years of channel or alcohol beverage sales, finance, marketing, supply chain, or e-commerce experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 12 years of alcohol beverage sales, finance, marketing, supply chain or ecommerce experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
    • 4 years of specific e-commerce marketing experience.
    • Demonstrated successful track record in e-Commerce sales growth.
    • Experience working with all levels and functions within the Company.
