Your Talent & Gallo — A Perfect Pairing!

Working with marketing teams, you will be responsible for creating and executing digital marketing strategies for Gallo brands using your knowledge of consumer behavior, shopper insights trends, brand plans, and business objectives.  You will work among other Digital Strategists and Assistants and together you will drive success for a portfolio of brands. Your strategies must be comprehensive and include social, search, site, content and interactive campaign initiatives. You’ll spot trends and technologies that play a role in consumer lives and use your digital savvy to incorporate these into brand plans and strategies. You will be utilizing research & analytics tools to continually evaluate performance in order to ensure that we are delivering against our objectives and targets. You are an effective communicator and listener, can captivate your audience, and effectively translate business needs into a digital vision.

What You Will Do-

Digital Strategy: 

  • You will collaborate with marketing teams to develop cohesive multi-channel marketing and communications plans and initiatives.
  • Help refine the brief to ensure that we are creating impactful work that is meaningful to our target consumer.
  • Utilize research and analysis of consumer and technology trends to develop actionable insights.
  • Perform digital marketing competitive analysis, needs assessments and develop recommendations to win with consumers.
  • Develop and present recommendations to marketing teams and cross-functional partners.
  • Works with brand teams to develop goals, KPIs and reports for digital campaigns.

People & Project Management: 

  • You are the digital connector with cross-functional teams, delivering strategy, execution and delivery of digital initiatives against business objectives.
  • Partner with internal teams and drive collaboration on initiatives between PR, Creative Services, Event Marketing, Media, and outside agencies.
  • Build strong relationships with functional marketing and vendor partners in order to work effectively in the development and execution of campaigns/programs, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Leverage analytics and software tools to improve the effectiveness of digital campaigns to meet/exceed brand objectives

Digital Evangelist:

  • Provides insights and ideas to identify opportunities to connect our brands with consumers.
  • Actively seeks new technology, competitor activities, and industry trends.
  • Maintain current knowledge for all things digital (i.e. mobile, ecommerce, SEO/PPC, email, social media marketing, etc.), you ensure consistent sharing of the latest information with your partners across the organization

What You Need-

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 4 years of digital marketing, brand planning, sales, marketing, advertising, journalism, public relations, corporate communications, account management, or corporate project management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience working on interactive and social media marketing campaigns, consumer/platform research, or content strategy and development.

What Will Set You Apart-

  • Master’s degree or MBA
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of digital marketing, brand planning, sales, marketing, advertising, journalism, public relations, corporate communications, account management, or corporate project management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
  • Experience working in a CPG environment.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Experience effectively presenting information to top management and customers.
  • Skilled in the use of Google AdWords and social advertising at a basic level.
