We are on the lookout for a meticulous and proactive Compliance Analyst who will play a crucial role in overseeing our regulatory programs and activities. This position involves ensuring compliance with federal, state, and international laws, industry codes, and company policies, particularly relating to alcohol beverage licensing, distribution, and sales.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for a variety of complex tasks including obtaining government approvals, preparing registration applications, and consulting with management to prepare appeals to government officials. Your role will also involve engaging in government interactions, compliance activities, and addressing issues related to Federal and State filings.
Your ability to review regulatory agency proposals, advise management, and execute necessary compliance changes will be invaluable. We rely on our team to effectively communicate progress updates, monitor potential non-compliant situations, and lead changes to ensure compliance. You will also be responsible for maintaining regulatory files, records, and documentation, as well as developing department procedures and policies.

What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of experience in regulatory compliance, government administration, quality assurance, life sciences, alcohol beverage product making, finance, legal support, data analytics or auditing with responsibilities that included compliance functions reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, government administration, quality assurance, life sciences, alcohol beverage product making, finance, legal support, data analytics or auditing with responsibilities that included compliance functions reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Skilled in the use of MS Word and MS Excel at a basic level.
- Experience in document research and review, document filing with local authorities.
- Ability to self-start, prioritize and meet strict deadlines while maintaining good judgement and professional relationships.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
How You’ll Stand Out
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Finance, Accounting, Biology, or Chemistry plus 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, government administration, quality assurance, life sciences, alcohol beverage product making, finance, or auditing with responsibilities that included compliance functions reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations, and effectively presenting information and responding to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
- Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, draw valid conclusions, interpret varied instructions, apply established procedures to non-routine situations, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
