Are you skilled in managing and optimizing systems and processes for compensation programs? Join our team at Gallo as a Compensation Systems Program Manager! In this critical role, you will lead the annual compensation planning cycle and drive organization-wide projects by leveraging collaborative relationships with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, Data Management, Payroll, and Finance. You will ensure data integrity and compliance within our compensation systems and reporting processes, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our compensation programs.

 

This position will be based in Modesto with an option for occasional telecommuting. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Stays current with industry trends and best practices in compensation management and use of existing and new systems to optimize and seamlessly support compensation needs.
  • Engages with internal compensation and cross functional teams to ensure Compensation technology is functional. Works to optimize current systems with enhancements or fixes.
  • Ensures integrations needed for Compensation systems are in working order and manages new integrations as required.
  • Researches and makes suggestions for process improvements to streamline team operations.
  • Acts as a key team member for system and process updates including cross-functional technology enhancements and trouble shooting.
  • Analyzes and implements AI tools and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to optimize processes and enhance functionality. 
  • Oversees the administration, documentation and system set up of GALLO incentive programs i.e. Performance Incentive Plan (PIP), Team Lead (TL) Incentives, Direct to Consumer (DtC) etc. and partners with appropriate internal and external members of the team to ensure seamless communication and timely payout.
  • Acts as project manager for annual merit and incentive Core Process initiatives to ensure seamless processes, accurate payouts and cycle success.
  • Ensures thorough testing of compensation systems to ensure functionality of system updates/enhancements and works with IT to resolve issues. 
  • Partners with OD and HR business partners to develop and manage timelines and communication plans ensuring all milestones are met in a timely manner.
  • Conducts individual job evaluation, analysis and benchmarking to determine appropriate placement within GALLO's Compensation structure.
  • Provides consultation for assigned client group(s) to assist with compensation related issues, escalating when needed.
  • Provides analysis and recommendation for job offers, equity reviews, promotions, demotions and other compensation actions for assigned client group.
  • Conducts research and provides expertise on special compensation-related projects as assigned. 
  • Works with broader compensation team on sustainability audits and standard work to ensure FLSA, Fair Pay, Pay Transparency, Minimum Wage and other related compensation compliance.
  • Develops analytics to highlight risk and provide mitigation.
  • Develops reports and dashboards/metrics to provide insights to compensation leadership team. 


WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of Human Resources, IT or Finance experience to include process improvement experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Master’s Degree plus 3 years of Human Resources, IT or Finance experience to include process improvement reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 9 years of Human Resources, IT or Finance experience to include process improvement experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 
  • Skilled in the use of MS Word, MS Teams, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel at an intermediate level.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with various cross-functional partners. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $100,600 -$151,000 
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
