As a Compensation Analyst reporting to the Senior Manager of Compensation, you will administer and support the corporate compensation programs and philosophies that are a key part in Gallo's goal to attract, motivate and retain great employees.

What You Will Do

  • Are you a resource investigator? You will be studying and analyzing jobs at all levels within the organization, benchmarking jobs, determining grades, and evaluating FLSA status
  • You will prepare job descriptions, evaluate jobs using appropriate evaluation plans and participate in salary administration programs
  • You will have the opportunity to participate in salary surveys and update the salary structure
  • You will participate in audits and evaluate jobs to ensure equitable wage and salary rates, both internally and externally
  • You will be involved in special compensation and business related projects

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or Economics plus 2 years of experience in Human Resources, Compensation Administration, Finance, Economics or Mathematics reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; -OR- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Quantitative Methods plus 2 years of experience in Human Resources, Compensation Administration, Finance, Economics or Mathematics reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; -OR- 6 years of experience in Human Resources or Finance to include experience in Compensation reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

  • Strong analytical and complex problem solving skills; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.

  • Responsible for working with highly sensitive and confidential information and maintaining the confidentiality of the information used during the normal course of business.

  • Detail driven individual with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with ability to see the broader picture and summarize complex data.

  • High level of attention to detail.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Skilled in juggling multiple tasks while still delivering high quality results.

  • Computer skill requirements include: intermediate MS Word, MS Excel and database, basic MS PowerPoint.

What Will Set You Apart

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or Economics plus 5 years of experience in Human Resources, Compensation Administration, Finance, Economics or Mathematics reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Quantitative Methods plus 5 years of experience in Human Resources, Compensation Administration, Finance, Economics or Mathematics reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
  • Project Management experience
