We're seeking a Business Systems Analyst-Category Management to join our dynamic team and empower our Sales/Customer Development teams with cutting-edge solutions. In this role, you'll dive deep into the world of Category Management, harnessing the power of syndicated data, space planning, and sales technology to provide impactful analytical support. Your expertise will be vital in formulating and defining the scope and objectives of our systems, ensuring alignment with business initiatives.
As a key player in our team, you'll spearhead data analysis and reporting, translating complex results into actionable insights for our customers. Your ability to educate users on diverse sales and data applications will foster a culture of knowledge-sharing and growth. You'll be at the forefront of planning and coordinating team and customer activities, using your understanding of the business areas to identify specific requirements and drive the development of new data sources and systems.
Your analytical prowess will be crucial as you dissect user requirements and procedures, crafting moderate to complex solutions that enhance efficiency. You'll design procedures that address workflow challenges, recommending technologies that optimize processes and deliver desired results. With a strategic mindset, you'll prepare project-phase plans, conduct workshops, and maintain seamless communication with management on project status.
As a liaison between users and management, your role will be pivotal in fostering collaboration and enhancing cross-functional processes. What You'll Need
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
- Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of sales, category management, or business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or 6 years of sales, category management or business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Math, Engineering or Business Administration plus 1 year of sales experience at a District Manager level, Category Management, or business systems analysis experience to include document preparation.
- Computer skill requirements include: Intermediate use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint.
- Good communication and business writing skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems, collect data, establish facts and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
- Project management experience.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
How You'll Stand Out
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Math, Engineering or Business Administration plus 2 year of sales experience at a District Manager level, Category Management, business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels or responsibility to include document preparation.
