A Taste of What You'll Do

Join our team as a Benefits Administrator and play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our ServiceNow™ HR platform, "AskHR." You'll create and deliver essential benefits content, oversee eligibility processes, and resolve escalations with employees and vendors. Additionally, you’ll prepare and manage project plans for open enrollments and lead training sessions. We’re looking for someone who can ensure data accuracy, audit vendor information, and collaborate with internal teams on new initiatives.   • Assumes full responsibility for system administration of the AskHR portal. Works closely with various functional teams in ticket resolution.
  • Assumes management of Benefits content for AskHR portal including content and security rules for HR microsites, and for details used by vendors when serving employees.
  • Responsible for eligibility administration, accurate programming, deductions and benefits content through the third-party Ben Admin group.
  • Ensures eligibility is accurate for Ben Admin. Performs audits and internal data checking, as required.
  • Supports data accuracy by monitoring error reports and resolving discrepancies, using judgement and critical thinking to find root issues, and partners vendor to troubleshoot root cause. Coordinates with the vendor on fix and communicates to employee the resolution.
  • Provides daily oversight of data and updates content used by the My Benefits Center team to answer employee and vendor questions, ensuring correct and smooth workflow.
  • Audits extract data and works with vendors to reconcile eligibility and determine payments.
  • Participates with HR Analytics in the implementation and ongoing support of the system (Empyrean/ADP) benefits modules.
  • Coordinates with vendors on benefits administration by overseeing the administration of employee benefits.
  • Audits vendor information and reports, addresses and resolves any issues or discrepancies on weekly benefit administration calls. Facilitates frequent calls with vendors to discuss methods to improve processes.
  • Oversees the administration of the ACA reporting tool. Conducts monthly analyses of ACA data to ensure accurate timekeeping and oversight for part time employees. Reviews 1095-C, in compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Partners with internal teams on implementation of new programs. Develops and manages project plans for new vendor/program implementations for Benefits related projects. Coordinates with new and existing vendors to ensure seamless integration.
  • Consults with and advises employees on eligibility, provisions, and other matters related to benefits.
  • Prepares department procedures and performance measures to vet with team members for feedback and enhancements.
  • Participates in the analysis, administration, communication and development of various employee benefit plans, such as life, medical, dental and disability insurance.
  • Conducts special financial and business-related studies as requested. Identifies options, prepares reports for management, and recommends action or change.

 

 What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience in human resources to include benefits experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years human resources experience to include benefits experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

  • Intermediate ADP and other HRIS experience required including report and query writing.

  • Experience managing privileged and confidential information.

  • Experience using discretion when dealing with confidential information.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • High level of attention to detail.

  • Skilled in the use of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) at an intermediate level.

  • Ability to create, collaborate and influence diverse groups to include vendors and professionals in various disciplines.

  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
