Join our team as a Finance/Accountant, where you will analyze and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger while preparing managerial and financial reports. Your role will involve interacting with external auditors and vendors, ensuring the financial integrity of our operations.

 

As a Finance/Accountant, you will prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports, analyzing records of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness. You will coordinate accounting matters with various departments, locations, and divisions, working both independently and collaboratively to identify and implement process improvements.

 

Utilizing technical systems efficiently, you will maintain detailed documentation and procedures for your areas of responsibility. Interaction with external auditors and vendors is a key part of the role, ensuring compliance with applicable GAAP accounting principles and policies. You will also conduct special financial and business-related studies as requested.

 

Maintaining satisfactory attendance and timeliness is essential. You will be responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulatory considerations. If you oversee others, you will ensure their understanding and compliance with these regulations.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of accounting, finance, audit economics, statistics or mathematics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year of Gallo accounting, finance, audit, economics, statistics or mathematics experience; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year of public audit or accounting experience.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration plus 5 years Accounting or Finance experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Public Accounting experience.
  • Experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word at an intermediate level.
  • Experience with SAP or comparable business system.
  • Experience with Showcase.
  • Experience with SAP EPM.
  • Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
  • Experience writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Experience effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers and customers.
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions. Experience interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and dealing with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Experience working with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions, and applying them to practical situations.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $68.700 - $103,100 Annually
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
