Do you have a passion for workforce development and training initiatives?  E. & J. Gallo Winery is seeking a Training Specialist to join our Supply Chain - Warehouse and Global Customer Service team to assist in the implementation of industrial training and education.  You will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to hourly and salaried employees at all levels. In addition, you will provide instructional design support by implementing forward-thinking training methodology through the use of instructor led and E-Learning tools.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Education and Training: 

• Collaborate with all teams to develop training materials to support operations
• Coordinate new hire onboarding training and qualification activities for all areas
• Maintain training processes, educational documents, and reports ensuring training effectiveness and compliance with corporate policies

Continuous Improvement:

• Provide continuous training/coaching for On the Job Trainers to improve training effectiveness
• Support the implementation of training and development of work instructions associated with capital and continuous improvement projects
• Identify and suggest ways to improve processes through the application of Lean concepts

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of Human Resources or leadership experience (people or processes) or experience in training/teaching environment; OR a High School diploma plus 6 years of Human Resources experience or experience in training/teaching in a classroom environment reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
• Training experience that includes developing and delivering instructional content and training programs
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs.

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Education, Instructional Design or related degree plus 4 years of training in an industrial environment reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
• Experienced in using Articulate/Storyline, Captivate or similar programs to create online training courses
• Experience writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals

Compensation

• Hiring Salary Range:  $29.90 - $44.81 per hour
• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
