As the Sr. Program Manager for Talent & Organizational Development you will lead and develop critical strategies and programs for the effective utilization of Gallo’s human capital. You will act as a consultative thought partner and trusted advisor to Gallo’s leadership and HR organization. This role reports to the Director, Organizational Development and partners with business leaders and HR Business Partners to proactively identify and respond to organizational issues and opportunities with solutions based on best practices in HR/OD. Using expertise and practices from Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology and related areas, this role will serve as a key partner to enable alignment and collaboration, and will implement improvements to talent management, human resource planning/succession, organizational development, performance management, leadership development, coaching, engagement/culture, and change management initiatives.  Relocation assistance available. 

 

What You Will Do

  • Delivers deep expertise related to talent management and development, succession planning, organizational assessment and design, performance management, research methods and design, assessment, surveys, psychometrics, advanced statistics, and change management.
  • Identifies and drives opportunities to positively impact culture and continuous improvement.
  • Drives collaboration across Organizational Development, the various Centers of Excellence, Human Resources Partners and the Business Units to assess needs and ensure consistency across the organizations 
  • Ensures that organization-wide talent management and performance management initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational and program efficiencies/effectiveness 
  • Manages senior stakeholder relationships by building business cases driven by data and generating consensus and buy-in from the Executive Leadership Team. 
  • Drives and is key participant HR projects, processes, and functions that involve human resources and client group leadership.
  • Facilitates leadership meetings to support initiatives related to culture, talent management, organizational design, and change management.
  • Administers leadership and employee assessments, such as personality inventories and 360 assessments, and researches developmental assessments and best practices.
  • Manages Gallo’s “employee listening” practices such as surveys, culture audits, and exit interviews. Evaluates the results, across multiple data sources, to identify strengths and opportunities in the organizational culture.
  • Provides thought leadership and acts as the company’s corporate-wide process owner regarding Executive Coaching, Mentoring Programs, and other talent and leadership development programs. Supports initiatives to refine current programs and create new ones.

 

What You Will Need

  • Master’s degree in I/O Psychology or a related area, plus 6 years of experience; OR, a Doctoral degree in I/O Psychology or a related area, plus 4 years of experience. Experience to include Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, Talent Management, or Human Resources to include Project Management and Analytics expertise that reflects increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Industry or consulting experience across some or all the various talent initiatives (organizational development, performance management, leadership development, change management).
  • Computer skill requirements include intermediate MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint; MS Teams.
  • Experience with HR program design, instructional design and using research design, selection, validity, reliability, and psychometrics.
  • Ability to manage data, conduct analyses, and perform advanced statistics (e.g., Regression, ANOVA, Multivariate statistics, META analysis).
  • Experience utilizing quantitative and qualitative research software tools.
  • Required to travel up to 10% of work time.

 

What Will Set You Apart

  • Master’s degree in I/O Psychology or a related area, plus 8 years of experience; OR, a Doctoral degree in I/O Psychology or a related area, plus 6 years of experience. Experience to include Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, Talent Management, or Human Resources to include Project Management and Analytics expertise that reflects increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience in the development and evaluation of training programs.
  • Experience operating with substantial latitude and decision-making authority.
  • Experience applying OD and I/O Psychology knowledge and practices to the completion of difficult assignments.
  • Thought leadership and important practices in succession planning, leadership development, performance management, talent development, and change management.
  • Knowledge of key talent management and OD frameworks and industry trends.
  • Strong proficiency in measurement, data management, analytical methods, and advanced statistics.
  • Highly proficient in the use of both quantitative and qualitative research software tools.
  • Experience administering employee engagement surveys and response programs.
