As an SAP Functional Expert - Enterprise Warehouse Management you will be accountable for the business process design in their functional area of expertise and adoption of standard Extended Warehouse Management functionality on SAP Enterprise Warehouse Management process areas.

  

What You Will Do:

  •  Guides the business in utilizing SAP warehouse management functionality to the best extent possible, and involves review of business processes and system challenges.
  • Participates in analysis of current state and design of future state business processes.
  • Reviews and guide internal business and IT teams to understand the system integrator proposed process design.
  • Conducts internal workshops / proof-of-concept sessions for business to align to solutions that reduce customization requirements throughout the implementation phase.
  • Provides inputs to project related documentation GAP analysis, blueprints, functional specifications, for development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms during different stages of implementation.
  • Configures SAP EWM environments and test system integrator provided solutions.
  • Participates actively in all user training activities and guide business teams in testing; conduct internal sessions on the specific product functionality on a need basis.
  • Evaluates of new releases and/or support packs within realm of expertise and provide recommendations on whether these changes should be applied to production/pre-production solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Provides ongoing functional support by being the liaison between users and technical support teams.
  • Manages incident tickets for new enhancements and projects post implementation.
  • Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
  • Leads the EWM architectural governance function/processes during the implementation (ensure the ongoing alignment of business architecture, functional architecture and technical architecture from a functional/solution perspective).
  • Ensures the integrity of the process design for Gallo and that conflicts between processes across different Gallo entities are resolved or escalated through the ERP governance as appropriate.
  • Encourages simplifying and streamlining business processes to deliver strong business benefits at an acceptable risk.
  • Ensures the infrastructure meets current and projected business needs, especially from a security perspective.
  • Drives EWM functional landscape and solution, including the functional integration points, applicable standards and governance.
  • Defines and/or align organization-wide best practices in design and development in EWM centric landscape in Integration and Customizations.
  • Engages in the technical change control process, ensuring that changes are defined, test requirements declared and risks/costs/impacts quantified.
  • Participates in multiple design activities, from requirements analysis to systems, application and/or process design specification.
  • Responsible for selecting, mentoring, and managing internal and external staff for successful implementation (internal Gallo and external vendors).
  • Responsible for designing strategy and negotiating with external vendors on RFP proposals.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory consideration. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for their understanding and compliance.

 

What You Will Need:

  •  High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
  • Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of working in SAP modules experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Demonstrates experience with industry best practices and implementing EWM business processes.
  • Experience in multiple end to end full life cycle EWM Implementation projects and at least 1 end to end full life cycle EWM implementation on HANA.
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of the functional aspects of the analysis and design process and its associated documentation (ie. Functional specifications, test plans).
  • Minimum of five years of working in other SAP Domains such as SAP PP, SAP SD, or SAP MM modules with at least (1) one year of experience in SAP QM modules.
  • Experience in warehouse automation technology not limited to SAP. Extensive experience in integrating conveyor lines, AGV, layer pickers or other warehouse and distribution technologies.

 

 

What Will Set You Apart:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Math, Engineering or Business Administration plus 10 years of business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Master’s degree.
  • Clear understanding of Order to Cash, Source to Pay, Finance and Controlling, Plan to Produce, Quality Management and MRO processes in SAP and integration to other functions.
  • Strong hands-on experience in configuring relevant functional modules (SAP FICO, SAP PP, SAP MM, SAP PM, SAP QM) with integration to other systems.
  • Process Improvement and the ability to understand business challenges and have the ability to translate into solutions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with business and IT globally.
  • Should have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Need to have strong documentation skills, ability to guide internal teams on SAP functionality.
  • Understanding of SOX controls as applicable to software solutions and process controls.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Ability to write basic queries or relevant basic technical know-how to extract information and provide quick analysis of data.
