The Recruitment Operations Leader is responsible for the development, planning, implementation, and management of recruitment programs and initiatives that support the attraction, hiring and onboarding of exceptional talent. In this position, you will serve as a member of the Talent Acquisition Leadership Team to create and maintain operational excellence across all areas of Talent Acquisition including candidate experience, recruitment technology, training, and compliance. Lead the core processes and technology for the TA team and enable hiring success by building and delivering processes, tools, and systems to support the recruiting team, hiring managers, and candidates. Manage the Candidate Experience Team and continue improving our award-winning program.

What You Will Do

Leadership

  • Leads the core operational processes for the TA team and ensures hiring success by building and delivering processes, tools, and systems to support the recruiting team, hiring managers, and interviewers.
  • Maintains comprehensive project roadmap/portfolio to identify and prioritize critical programs and enhancements to systems and software that have a positive impact on recruitment processes and user experience.

Candidate Experience team

  • Manages the day-to-day activities of the Candidate Experience Team (CXT) to balance workloads, ensure coverage during established working hours, and promotes timely completion of tasks. Serve as a point of escalation for team members to resolve any complex issues.
  • Maintains continuous listening efforts to understand satisfaction of candidates, hiring managers and TA staff.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensures process documentation, workflows, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are recorded and optimized across the TA function.
  • Continuously improves processes and procedures to enhance the recruiting process and overall candidate experience.
  • Leads continuous process improvement, lean methodologies, and the identification and implementation of best practices.
  • Responsible for managing a system of metrics and analytics to guide shared understanding and continuous improvement around talent pipelines, funnel, and hiring KPI's.

Recruitment Technology

  • Acts as subject matter expert for recruitment technology such as Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Candidate Relationship Management (CRM), Job Advertising Distribution (JAD), SMS text messaging tools, calendar and scheduling software, and candidate travel and reimbursement platforms.
  • Partners with TA team and HRIS to identify and prioritize enhancements to systems and software that have a positive impact on recruitment processes and user experience.

Training and Compliance

  • Provides training for all members of the recruiting team for new hire assimilation, upskilling team, and desired processes or procedures to reduce risk or improve compliance.
  • Ensures that recruiting activities are in compliance with corporate and government regulatory agencies, including OFCCP and EEOC guidelines.

What you Need

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of talent acquisition, recruitment operations or technology experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility to include supervisory, managerial, or project management experience; or MBA degree plus 4 years of talent acquisition, recruitment operations or technology experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility to include supervisory, managerial, or project management experience; or high school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 10 years of talent acquisition, recruitment operations or technology experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility to include supervisory, managerial, or project management experience.
  • Experience establishing, maintaining, and optimizing operations at a mid to large scale employer including project and program management, process optimization, and prioritization methodologies.
  • Experience with technology implementation, maintenance, and optimization at a mid to large scale employer.
  • Proven project management experience leading and implementing projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather, analyze and extract data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting new and innovative concepts to leadership.

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of talent acquisition, recruitment operations or technology experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility to include supervisory, managerial, or project management experience; or MBA degree plus 6 years of talent acquisition, recruitment operations or technology experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility to include supervisory, managerial, or project management experience; or high school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 12 years of talent acquisition, recruitment operations or technology experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility to include supervisory, managerial, or project management experience.
  • Experience establishing, maintaining, and optimizing recruitment operations at a mid to large scale employer including project and program management, process optimization, and prioritization methodologies.
  • Experience with technology implementation, maintenance, and optimization at a mid to large scale employer including Applicant Tracking Systems and/or Candidate Relationship Management tools.
  • Proven project management experience leading and implementing talent-related projects.
  • Experience working on projects that have strategic impact and improve the process efficiency of the company.
  • Experience driving process improvement and consistency.
  • Knowledge of EEO and OFCCP regulations.
