In this role as a Commissioning Project Manager, you will primarily work cross-functionally as a commissioning project manager, taking on varying assignments including building and/or starting up new assets or products to deliver the defined success criteria within a manufactuing environment.

Improving throughput, quality, safety, operational costs, and risk and meeting regulatory requirements.

What You Will Do:

Project Management

  • Execution of commissioning activities for bottling capital projects, working cross-functionally to successfully integrate new equipment solutions into the production environment.
  • Coordinating Factory Acceptance Tests, functional & safety checkouts, production validation and site acceptance tests for new equipment.
  • Develop a schedule(s) impacting multiple groups, areas, vendors, needs, ensuring those impacted are enlisted. Can drive a project and meet the schedule. Can adjust a schedule based on new information. Understands interdependencies and how to schedule. Understands critical path tasks. Can see and propose methods to shorten a schedule and articulate the associated trade-offs, risks, make a recommendation and gain alignment on the path forward.
  • Develop a start-up plan for a moderately complex system, translating the overall project goals into discrete category goals and daily goals. Ensures monthly, weekly, and daily goals are met and has contingency plans in place for ahead/ behind conditions.
  • Maintains an understanding on how project decisions impact different business goals.
  • Develops and executes a communication plan. Facilitates core teams for key project input. Presents out to stakeholders. Builds relationships with customers and partners. Works with customer and management to align on scope, cost or schedule changes.
  • Ability to read and understand plans and drawings.

  • Leads or supports cross-functional teams in the building or improving of processes, capital assets.

  • Effectively presents ideas verbally.
  • Prepares and delivers succinct and pertinent presentations to business unit leaders.
  • Functions as liaison with customers, other departments and divisions to ensure functional specifications are met.
  • Provides department leaders, and business unit leaders with recommendations on complex operational issues.
  • Communicates project status and identifies, develops and implements plans to reduce/eliminate roadblocks to success

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering plus 8 years of Engineering, Project Engineering, Project Management, Commercial or Industrial Architecture, Commercial or Industrial Construction Management experience, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility, which may include Gallo TMDP or OMDP experience; OR Bachelor of Science Degree plus 10 years of Engineering, Project Engineering, Project Management, Commercial or Industrial Architecture, Commercial or Industrial Construction Management experience, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Master’s Degree in Engineering plus 6 years of Engineering, Project Engineering, Project Management, Commercial or Industrial Architecture, Commercial or Industrial Construction Management experience, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility, which may include Gallo TMDP or OMDP experience; OR High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 12 years of Engineering, Project Engineering, Project Management, Commercial or Industrial Architecture, Commercial or Industrial Construction Management experience, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Understands Basic Engineering and can follow standard work to achieve goals.

What Will Set You Apart:

  • BS in Engineering Management, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Bio-Systems Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or Civil Engineering, plus 10 years managing projects.
  • L6S Certification (Black Belt/ Green Belt)
  • CPG Manufacturing Systems (Filling, Labeling, Packaging, etc.)
