Gallo is looking for a Diversity & Inclusion Leader to support D&I initiatives, bring focus to organizational change efforts, aligns resources, and drive execution of our D&I goals. In this position you will partner with our D&I Council, serves as a liaison, change-agent, and catalyst for cross-functional collaboration and mobilization surrounding our D&I efforts. Leveraging your background and experience, you will help lead the company in our D&I Journey. The D&I Leader will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and VP/General Counsel, current co-sponsors of the Gallo D&I Council.

 

What You Will Do:

PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

  • Works with the D&I Council, leads the alignment and execution of initiatives related to Gallo’s corporate D&I strategy.
  • Advises teams and coaches senior leaders on the diversity and inclusion needs in the organization to drive transformational culture change.
  • Manages the execution of assigned projects such as D&I Summits, shared ERG events, and executive attendance at internal events.
  • Works across extended network of employees to identify future leaders to serve on the D&I Council and manages the selection and onboarding process for new Council members.
  • Enlists and engages extended network of ERG members to develop and maintain a project roadmap and calendar of D&I initiatives and events.
  • Partners with People Analytics to develop and monitor metrics for measuring the success of corporate diversity initiatives.
  • Works across all internal D&I resources to enlist and engage support of recruitment efforts.
  • Manages a budget that supports all D&I Council and ERG initiatives.

LIAISE

  • Establishes positive, solid, and strategic relationships with the D&I Council, ERG’s leaders, Executive Sponsors, HRBPs (Human Resource Business Partners), and other employees, departments, or groups focused on D&I.
  • Serves as a direct liaison to HR and Legal for the purpose of ensuring company-wide communications and events align with Gallo's values and leadership expectations, from a D&I perspective.
  • Establishes and maintains regular ongoing Executive Sessions between the D&I Council and key leaders across the company, as directed by the D&I Council.
  • Establishes partnerships with outside D&I consultants and manage engagements as needed.

COMMUNICATE

  • Coordinates updates to company-wide D&I communication channels such as the D&I SharePoint site, the D&I Playbook, and internal announcements.
  • Collaborates with Public Relations and Human Resources to communicate internal and external initiatives, events, and progress on our D&I Journey, both internally and externally.
  • Works with the sales organization and various functional teams across the company to collect and approve official D&I Statements to be included in RFIs, RFPs, Requests for Tender, and related efforts to win new business.

 

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of experience in the areas of influence, change leadership, or diversity, equality and inclusion strategy with experience implementing successful programs; or MBA and 8 years of experience in the areas of influence, change leadership, or diversity, equality and inclusion strategy with experience implementing successful programs
  • 6 years of project or program management.
  • 4 years of management or leadership experience.
  • 3 years of direct experience in Diversity & Inclusion strategy programs
  • Required to travel up to 50% of the time in order to conduct job duties.

 

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of experience in the areas of influence, change leadership, or diversity, equality and inclusion strategy with experience implementing successful programs; or MBA and 10 years of experience in the areas of influence, change leadership, or diversity, equality and inclusion strategy with experience implementing successful programs.
