Do you thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment? Are you looking for an internship that offers on-the-job experience? Are you considering a future career with Gallo but would first like to gain a glimpse into the industry? The Sales Internship Program is designed to advance your growth and develop personal selling techniques to maximize the sale and distribution of Gallo brands with existing and prospective accounts. You will shadow current employees for 6 weeks as a means of achieving perspective and learning what a career path could look like with Gallo.

What You Will Do

  • Take direction while supporting the functions of the distributor sales team.
  • Participate in calls on accounts to provide service and merchandising support.
  • Lift and move cases of wine while demonstrating how to merchandise and build displays.
  • Assist in developing positive relationships with customers and prospective customers.
  • Participate in design critiques, when appropriate.

What You Need

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
  • Currently enrolled at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Valid driver’s license and successful completion of background check. Required to obtain a California driver’s license or appropriate state driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
  • No more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years and no DUI/DWI convictions within the past 5 years.
  • Required to lift, move, stack, etc., product cases weighing approximately 50 lbs. each.
  • Required to work independently and manage time commitments to meet established service goals.

  • Sophomore or Junior standing and obtaining a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated teamwork experience.
