What you'll do:

Provide recruiting services to affiliated California distributors by locating and delivering high quality candidates for interview and hire.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Partners with human resource representatives, department leadership, and hiring managers across multiple locations throughout California to identify talent needs, workforce planning strategies, and search assignments.
  • Assists with internal recruiting processes.
  • Maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Develops an effective pipeline of key talent available for immediate hire.
  • Partners with sourcers to identify online recruiting resources and social media outlets; utilizes the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to identify and recruit qualified candidates.
  • Screens resumes and credentials of candidates, and completes phone screens ensuring that the skills, experience and subject knowledge meet the minimum qualifications of the position.
  • Coordinates the scheduling and logistics for the interviewing of candidates.
  • Coordinates the post-interview debrief/feedback with the interview team and candidates.
  • Works with hiring managers, human resources representatives, talent acquisition and the compensation department to create and update job descriptions and to finalize offers for employment.
  • Ensures that employment offer letters state the correct agreed terms of hire.
  • Participates in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies.
  • Maintains accurate and organized documentation on all recruiting activities.
  • Ensures that recruiting activities are in compliance with corporate and government regulatory agencies, including OFCCP and EEOC guidelines.
  • Implements appropriate trends and innovative recruiting techniques.
  • Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year of corporate or agency recruiting, sourcing, or human resources experience; or MBA degree.
  • Skilled in written and oral communication.
  • Required to travel by airplane and automobile.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of corporate or agency recruiting, sourcing or human resources experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Technologically curious and savvy, strong consumer of social media and mobile applications.
  • Experience managing demands, accepting constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible.
  • Experience using applicant tracking system.
  • Experience presenting new recruiting concepts to leadership.
  • Internet savvy and experienced in mining online databases.
  • Skilled in quickly learning systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Experience with full lifecycle recruiting.
  • Experience recruiting on a national, multi-location level.
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Skilled in the use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook an intermediate level.
  • Skilled in assimilating technical information and building solutions.
