This position will be based in Los Angeles or Orange County, CA and requires regular travel within your assigned territory. Occasional travel to company sites may be required as needed.

We are seeking a passionate individual to drive profitable share growth of Gallo products within assigned Customer Accounts. In this role, you will develop and nurture key customer relationships, fostering support for Gallo’s diverse portfolio of wine and spirit products. You'll be instrumental in building and expanding both new and existing product lines, while spearheading strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall wine and spirit category growth.
As a vital member of our team, you'll collaborate closely with wholesalers and the Gallo Distributor Management team, ensuring seamless execution of chain priorities and programs. Your role will involve field visits, market evaluations, and the application of best practices to drive success across all Customer Development accounts within your region. Partnering with Category Management, you'll analyze market data to identify business opportunities and develop strategic initiatives tailored to achieve Gallo's revenue and profit growth objectives.
We are looking for someone who embraces continuous improvement, innovation, and an entrepreneurial mindset. You will engage with various teams across the customer's organization, including senior management, marketing, e-commerce, and supply chain, to ensure comprehensive and effective communication channels. Your ability to present compelling cases for new product distribution and leverage digital marketing programs will be crucial in maximizing Gallo's presence both in brick-and-mortar stores and online platforms.
This role demands a proactive approach, with a focus on compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. You will also play a key role in succession planning and the development of personnel within the organization. As a Gallo Ambassador, you'll advocate for our brands, host events, and utilize social media to promote Gallo sales within the community.

What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery Sales, Gallo Affiliated or Non-affiliated Distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of CPG sales/account management, retail sales/account management, or corporate business development reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery Sales, Gallo Affiliated or Non-affiliated Distributor Sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate plus 7 years of CPG sales/account management, retail sales/account management, or corporate business development reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver’s license based on the position’s location within 30 days of hire.
- Required to obtain Liquor License as required by state/locality.
- Required to travel by air and automobile up to 50% during the course of business.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. What You Will Set You Apart:
- Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales or category development experience to include a prior rotation as a Market Development Manager, Market Development Manager Sr, Spirits Development Specialist, or Account Manager 1; OR Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of external alcohol sales experience to include account management experience.
Compensation:
- Hiring salary range posted: $91,500 - $137,300 / year
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
