Hiring Salary Range Posted: $19.50- $19.50/hour


Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

 

This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.

As a Weighmaster - Seasonal, you'll be responsible for the weighing and scanning of grape trucks that enter and leave the Winery. This role is vital to the success of the Winery during harvest operations. This is a seasonal position, perfect for someone who is looking for a short-term job from July to October with three shift availability. Typical job tasks include, but are not limited to, data entry into a computer based system, the manual filing of paperwork, the review and auditing of paperwork for correct entry, the verification of paperwork against the real world state, and the engagement of many different individuals on a daily basis. All individuals must comply with applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulatory considerations. No prior experience is necessary, and training will be provided. What You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
  • Required to be at least 18 years of age.
  • Skilled in basic math, 10 key data entry, and auditing skills.
  • Required to lift and move standard office equipment and supplies that weigh up to 10 pounds.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Skilled in using a copy machine, telephone, and ten-key adding machine.
  • Required to work a seven (7) day workweek, eight to twelve (8-12) hours per day when necessary.
  • Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
  • Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel 
  • requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
