Compensation: 
Hiring Salary Range Posted: Set rate listed as $18.50 / hour  
 

Under general supervision supports administrative functions and policies for the grower relations department during grape harvest.

  • Manages telephone and on-site communications with clients and vendors.
  • Maintains field sugar sample labels, data, reporting and routes maps.
  • Coordinates fruit samples with Laboratory staff.
  • Assists field sugar samplers on general questions, route assistance and mileage reporting
  • Maintains schedule versus actual reporting, including capturing daily notes related to shortages or overages on block delivery; creates other reports on an ad-hoc basis
  • Runs daily system crush reports for managers and reps.
  • Assists in data collection for grower metrics.
  • Resolves grower inquiries related to gateway, delivery information and tickets.
  • Engages in data entry and maintenance of grape management systems, including field rep schedule updates, delivery ticket printing and daily delivery load tracking.
  • Maintains department files, delivery tickets, records, and documentation.
  • Assists with planning, ordering, setup and cleanup of Field Trip luncheons as assigned. 
  • Responsible for the understanding of system components related to the grower relations function.
  • Trains field sugar samplers on processes related to field sampling as assigned.
  • Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of clerical, administrative, planning, scheduling or operations experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibilities.
  • Skilled in the use of MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
