Compensation

 $15.67 - 21.15
Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

What you will do

• Operate and maintain packaging equipment to ensure timely and efficient production.

• Contribute to achieving established production goals in a cost-effective manner.

• Assist with changeovers and maintain a mindset of continuous improvement.

• Ensure a clean and organized work area and comply with food safety standards.

• Perform routine production reporting, quality checks, and verification.

• Demonstrate situational awareness and urgency for safety, quality, and productivity.

• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.

• Maintain satisfactory attendance and compliance with regulations.

• Obtain and maintain forklift driver certification.

• Exhibit intrapreneurship and ownership behaviors, such as thinking boldly and holding self and others accountable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate and 6 months of wine production or manufacturing experience.
• Required to be 18 years of age or older.
• Required to be physically capable of executing any job tasks within the bottling room or cellar operations.
• Must be able to repetitively lift and uncase glass cases onto a conveyer belt.
• Required to work assigned shifts Monday - Saturday (day, swing, and graveyard) and Sundays and overtime as needed.
• Required to wear a respirator when necessary.
• Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Required to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Required to comply with company GMP policies.

• Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
• Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.

• Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

• High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 1 year of wine production or manufacturing experience.
• Experience showing versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• Experience in using a computer.
• Experience being a team player.
• Experience understanding and following written and verbal instructions.
• Skilled in basic mathematical operations.

Physical Demands

• Required to be physically capable of executing any job tasks within the production facilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to:

• Frequently stand, walk, kneel, bend, talk and hear. Lift, roll and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Reach, push and pull with hands and arms, twist and turn, squat and climb and balance.

Work Enviromernt

• Works in all areas of winery where temperatures and conditions may vary.

• Works with and around chemicals, including (but not limited to) Sulfur Dioxide, Peracetic Acid, Laco-quat, Carbon Dioxide, Sterox and tartaric acid.

• The employee is frequently exposed to working at elevate heights; moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
