This position is at Turner Road Vintners and as a Wine Tech in Bottling you will participate in all phases of the bottling production process. You will also maintain and sanitize all of the equipment and facilities. The schedule will rotate between 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift every 2 months. 

Compensation: $18.50/hr

What You Will Do: 

Bottling/Tetra Operations:

  • Operates and cleans bottling equipment.
  • Assist with change overs.
  • Ability to keep work area clean, organized and Food Safety compliant. Responsible for general housekeeping duties and maintaining a sanitary work area.
  • Must be able to consistently perform all in-process and final production quality control and verification checks.
  • Under moderate supervision performs basic operation and minimal troubleshooting on packaging equipment including loading correct packaging materials into the machinery
  • Safely and efficiently operate all assigned pieces of equipment production line to meet or exceed established production goals in a cost-effective manner.

What You Need: 

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate; or one year of wine production or manufacturing experience
  • Required to be 18 years of age or older
  • Required to be physically capable of executing any job tasks within the bottling room or cellar operations
  • Must be able to repetitively lift and uncase glass cases onto a conveyer belt
  • Required to work any assigned shift (day, swing, graveyard, 5x8, 4x10); required to work weekends and overtime when necessary
  • Required to wear a respirator when necessary
  • Required to work at heights and in confined spaces

What Will Set You Apart: 

  • High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of wine production or manufacturing experience
  • Experience operating a forklift
