Hiring Salary Range Posted: set rate listed as $20.00 - $20.00/hour
Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
Are you interested in working with a highly involved team to create innovative distillation feed material while gaining valuable manufacturing experience? The Livingston Extractor is seeking seasonal employees to support our 2024 Harvest season. As a member of our team, you'll work closely with Winery operations and maintenance to turn a traditional winemaking wastestream into a valuable distillation base material. You will be involved with all tasks involved with daily extractor operations.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Extraction of a variety of juice and alcohol products
- Operating machinery and equipment
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment
- Sampling and performing basic lab analysis
- Landscaping
This is a seasonal position, with employment running approximately July-November. The hours and schedule will vary depending on the workload, but tends to fall around 40-60 hours per week during the peak, including weekends when necessary.
What You Will Need:
- High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
- Required to be at least 18 years of age.
- Required to work any shift.
- Required to lift and move up to 60 pounds.
- Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
- Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
- Required to work overtime and weekends if necessary.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
