A Taste of What You'll Do
Join our team at Gallo Winery and help keep our winemaking supply chain running smoothly. In this hands-on role you’ll support material handling, receiving, stocking, and inventory control under direct supervision, using computer-based systems (SAP, Wine Manager) to enter receipts, verify transactions, pick and stage components, and maintain accurate records. You’ll help ensure FIFO, secure loads for transport, support weekly vendor ordering, and provide regular and ad hoc inventory reports that keep cross-functional teams informed.
You’ll troubleshoot system and inventory issues, propose improvements, and escalate when needed while following laid-out space and storage requirements. Day-to-day tasks include cycle counting, replenishment, issuing product labels, assisting with work order closeouts, and supporting end-of-year physical counts. You’ll also contribute to KPIs, participate in special projects, and promote continuous improvement and safe work practices.
We seek someone who shows ownership and intrapreneurship takes initiative, learns from mistakes, communicates clearly, and holds themselves and others accountable. Attention to detail, basic computer skills, comfort with physical material handling, and a collaborative mindset will set you up for success. Prior experience with inventory systems and SAP is a plus.

What You'll Need
- High-School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 1 year of warehouse, storeroom, inventory control, or production experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Required to lift up to 55 pounds and relocate product in twisting motion.
- Required to navigate ladders up to 20 feet high.
- Required to work weekends, rotating shift, or overtime as needed.
- Required to possess or become Forklift Certified.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
How You'll Stand Out
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 3 years of warehouse, storeroom, inventory control, or production experience.
- Skilled in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and SAP.
- Experience with multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with effectively communicating with managers, peers and customers.
