Join us as a Seasonal Vineyard Technician from April to November where your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will be valued and rewarded. As part of our team, you will play an essential role in monitoring and accurately collecting vital vineyard performance data, ensuring our product quality and operational performance goals are consistently met.
You will participate in a variety of tasks including monitoring and collecting data on pressure bomb readings, pest checks, vine water status, vine health, canopy conditions, petioles, and soil conditions. Your role will also involve collecting labor and equipment operations performance data, monitoring research and production block vines, and performing soil and fruit sugar sampling and testing. Additionally, you will be responsible for vineyard scouting, collaborating with ranch technicians and leaders, and contributing to a safe work environment.
We are looking for individuals who can ensure that their day-to-day actions and decisions align with all quality standards. You will also play a part in training and coaching vineyard associates, maintaining satisfactory attendance, and adhering to all applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulations.
What You Will Need:
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
- Required to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Required to work any shift and work overtime when required.
- Required to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver’s license based on the position’s location within 30 days of hire.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
Compensation:
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $22.50/hour
This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
