As a key player in providing merchandising support and service to our assigned areas, you will work closely with Division Field Service Representatives and distributor sales teams to enhance account servicing.
In this role, you will be actively involved in calls on accounts, offering exceptional service and merchandising support. Your ability to lift and move cases of wine will come into play as you demonstrate effective merchandising techniques and build impressive displays. What You Will Do:
- Assists Division Field Service Representatives as needed to support account servicing.
- Takes direction while supporting the functions of the distributor sales team.
- Participates in calls on accounts to provide service and merchandising support.
- Lifts and moves cases of wine while demonstrating how to merchandise and building displays.
- Participates in developing positive relationships with customers and prospective customers.
- Participates in design critiques when appropriate.
- Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.
What You Will Need:
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Required to travel by automobile to perform job duties.
- Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver’s license based on the position’s location within 30 days of hire.
- Experience working independently and manage time commitments to meet established service goals.
- Experience working cooperatively with others.
- Experienced in reading and comprehending simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Required to lift, move, stack, etc., product cases weighing approximately 60 pounds each.
- Required to lift and move up to 60 pounds including overhead.
- Experienced in writing simple correspondence and procedures.
- Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
Compensation:
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $26.25 /hour
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
