As the Supply Planning Analyst at E. & J. Gallo Winery, you will have a challenging front line impact on the control and success of the winery.  The Supply Planning Analyst is a front line leader in the winery and is engaged in specific facet of the business process – scheduling, production, transportation, distribution, customer service, and more! In short, these Analysts are the “foundation” that supports the operational strategy and vision of the winery.  Their performance supports the winery drive scheduled & controlled execution, monitors key performance indicators and advises supply chain leaders on continuous improvement opportunities.

What You Will Do

  • Process/System Understanding
  • Schedules requirements using ERP Production Planning Module. 
  • Monitors the Distribution Requirement Plan, and makes recommendation priorities based on customer needs and production availability.
  • Update and maintains the weekly schedule for all winery products.
  • Performance Management
  • Review and prepare target customer service levels and inventory turn levels based on forecast error and bias trends, manufacturing capacity and customer service and inventory turns. 
  • Review and prepare actual versus scheduled production metrics weekly and ensure compliance to schedule is achievable. (Schedule Compliance Metric)
  • Cross Functional Leadership
  • Resolve issues by presenting various alternatives for decision during daily strategic alignment meetings.
  • Present and Participate in meetings, and keep up to date on issues related to Manufacturing, Planning, Metrics, and other related Supply Chain issues.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree OR High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution plus 4 years of supply chain, corporate finance, engineering, supplier development, production/operations experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

What Will Set You Apart

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Supply Chain Management concentration plus, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • APICS Certifications, Green Belt Certification and Lean Practioner Certification
  • Skilled in applying mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factor analysis.
