This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance. 

What You Will Do: 

Are you passionate about driving operational efficiency and quality improvement? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Seasonal Operations Project Coordinator at California Natural Color. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing projects that enhance our production capacity and overall performance. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance, to achieve these goals.

As a Seasonal Operations Project Coordinator, you will perform your duties under the supervision and guidance of senior staff members. You will undertake various projects and special assignments, focusing on optimizing our processes and identifying opportunities for cost reduction. One of your key responsibilities will be to support the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metric and performance in the dryer area, ensuring that we maintain high standards of efficiency and quality.

You will participate in daily work assignments, learning and applying the basics of the functional area. Maintaining satisfactory attendance, including timeliness, is essential for this role. Additionally, you will be responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulatory considerations, ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards.

What You Will Need: 

  • High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 1 year of research/project experience.
  • Skilled in the use of MS Excel at a basic level.
  • Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
  • Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
