Hiring Salary Range Posted: $20.00 - $20.00/hour


Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

 

This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.

 

We are currently seeking a Must Line Operator to work harvest from July-October  The Must Line Operator's primary responsibility is to ensure that the specified grapes are going into the correct tank and that all valves are set for each program prior to any crushing into that program. Additionally, you will monitor the levels of all tanks receiving must by periodically doing a visual level check, collect gauges for the fermentation area, and manage the throughput and yields of the gravity drains in the fermentation area. The ideal candidate will have experience in a production or manufacturing environment and possess basic knowledge of valve operation and flow directions. Experience in food production, chemical processing, or similar manufacturing industries would be beneficial. You must also have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to complete all paperwork in a clear, legible manner. What You Will Need:

  •  High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
  • Skilled in reading, writing, and understanding the English language.
  • Experience working with others and maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Skilled in computing basic math problems involving fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Required to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Required to work any assigned shift.
  • Required to work overtime if necessary.
  • The position requires seasonal availability for a seven day work week (8 - 12 hours per day).
  • Required to comply with company GMP Policies.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel
