Summary
Under limited supervision executes against daily/weekly production schedules. Ensures quality and integrity of the product while adhering to the safety standards. Required to work closely with cross-functional teams and execute against the direction. Responsible for managing multiple tasks and time management through-out the day.
What You Will Do
• Follows GMP, safety and quality guidelines.
• Completes, submits, and communicate status of work orders assigned for compliance with regulatory bodies in real time (both manually and electronically).
• Navigates and performs data entry in Wine Manager System (WMS).
• Performs scheduled treatment and material additions.
• Clearly communicates status of assigned jobs with team members to include level 5 technical operators, team leaders and peers as necessary.
• Performs all jobs per Cellar department standard operating procedures and work. Instructions: in the event of an error, volunteer facts as related to the error immediately to Team Leader or Technical Operator.
• Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
• Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations.

What You Need
• High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate
• Required to successfully complete assessment.
• Required to climb stairs on an occasional basis.
• Required to work in outdoor ambient conditions.
• Required to work overtime as business needs require.
• Required to lift and move up to 50 pounds with torso rotation and neck movement.
• Required to stand-up lifting 50 pounds
• Required to occasionally lift and carry up to 55 pounds.
• Required to be 21 years of age or older.
• Use of respirator with proper fit as outlined by OSHA requirements.
• Required learn, qualify for, and obtain a forklift certification.
What Will Set You Apart
• Cellar experience.
• Experience with human machine interface (HMI).
• Basic computer aptitude.
• Work experience which required physical labor.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to:
• Maneuver pumps and other cellar equipment over hoses, as well carry 2” and 3” x 25’ hoses distances up to several hundred feet
• Gripping strength and continual turning and twisting of the hand, wrist and forearm. Fine finger dexterity will be necessary frequently during most days
• Lifts 10-25 pounds occasionally. Items in this weight category such as small clips, valves and smaller hand tools, ingredients (bags) and some of the smaller hoses.
• Lifts 50 pounds frequently. Items in this weight category consist of hoses ranging from 10-25 feet long by three or four inches in diameter; containers of chemicals; and approximately 50 pounds of torque pressure (or more) when lifting the back handle of a portable pump to push it over a hose.
• Lifts 51-75 pounds occasionally. Lifts objects in this weight category during the day. This could include a variety of ingredients containers, as well as maneuvering a portable transfer pump, which would require a push or pull/lift occasionally during the day.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to the following:
• Exposure to dust, fumes, smoke, gases, or other irritating substances.
• Exposure to solvents or chemicals.
• The primary working surface is concrete and asphalt.
• Work activities are performed primarily outdoors 75 to 95 percent of the time.
• Outdoor temperatures fluctuate from winter to summer between 30-110 degrees.
• Walking on wet, slippery, ice or uneven walking surfaces and over obstacles.
• Climbing inside the tanks through a small doorway many times a day, every day
• Climbing stairways, catwalks, ramps and both portable and stationary ladders.
• Most equipment used is 480 volts.
Compensation:
- Set rate listed as $28.25 / hour.
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
