If you have proven success at implementing quality initiatives that drive company growth, then this position is for you!  This highly visible position at our Fresno Winery facility will require you to manage and continuously improve the site’s quality and food safety programs in conformance with established programs and standards. You will lead the charge in driving process standardization and ensuring consistency of standard processes, while working cross-functionally with various departments.  

What You Will Do: 
Lead 

  • Site quality and food safety program to ensure compliance to FSSC 22000 

  • QFS regulatory inspections and audits, internally and externally.  

  • Training of site personnel. 

  • Cross-functional initiatives, as needed, to continuously improve programs. 

  • Operating budget and capital spending plan. 

  • Achievement of performance and development goals for direct reports. 

Collaborate 

  • Interdepartmentally at the site to ensure programs are executed by various departments, as needed, to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements.  

  • Across Quality network with other Quality Managers and Corporate Quality to provide feedback, best practice share, and improve programs. 

  • Across the lab network to improve equipment reliability, quality systems performance, and method performance, capacity, consistency and turn-around time. 

Support 

  • Quality feedback data from customers to drive continual improvement activities. 

  • Department and interdepartmental planning and management teams. 

What You Need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years Plant Quality, Food Safety Manufacturing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility to include supervisory or managerial experience; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 9 years Plant Quality, Food Safety Manufacturing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility to include supervisory or managerial experience. 

  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description. 

  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description. 

What Will Set You Apart: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Food Science plus 8 years of Plant Quality, Food Safety Manufacturing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility to include supervisory or managerial experience.  

  • Master’s degree. 

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $107,800.00 -$161,800.00/year. 
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
