We are searching for enthusiastic individuals to join us in performing a variety of general labor activities, including sanitation and operating equipment, under general supervision. This role provides the opportunity to work with a diverse range of machinery such as extractors, seed extractors, mill/blenders, pasteurizers, forklifts, and more. You will kick off each shift by reviewing the operations schedule with the Team Leader and ensuring a smooth handoff with the on-coming shift.

 

In this role, you will keep up with new skills and processes introduced for equipment center operations while strictly following GMP, PPE requirements, and other quality and safety policies. Your responsibilities will include moving portable pumps, gauging tank levels, building hose line-ups for product transfer and tank cleaning, and washing the interior and exterior of tanks. Additionally, you will be responsible for the general housekeeping of the plant and performing scheduled treatments and material additions. Utilizing tools such as Visual Management Boards, you will complete, submit, and communicate the status of work orders in real-time to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies. Clear and effective communication with team members, including the Cellar/Barreling Team Lead and Operations Team Leader, is essential.

What You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 1 year of Production/Operations experience.

  • Required to successfully complete the training program for Operator 1 equipment centers within 90 days of employment.

  • Required to be at least 18 years of age.

  • Required to maintain 3 shift availability (day, swing, and graveyard); required to work overtime when necessary.

  • Required to lift and move up 50 pounds.

  • Required to wear a respirator for certain tasks, when necessary.

  • Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

  • Skilled in writing simple correspondence.

  • Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.

  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $24.13-$32.60 / hour 

  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
