A Taste of What You’ll Do
Join California Natural Color as a Maintenance Planner and play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and performance of our production operations. In this highly collaborative position, you will help drive maintenance planning and scheduling activities that support production goals while optimizing labor, materials, and equipment resources. You'll work cross-functionally with technicians, maintenance leaders, reliability partners, operations teams, and supply chain stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities and improve operational effectiveness.
In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to scope maintenance work, develop detailed job plans, manage maintenance inventories, and maintain equipment records within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Your contributions will help ensure maintenance work is executed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to production operations.

What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of maintenance administration or technical maintenance experience with high-speed machinery reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of maintenance administration or technical maintenance experience with high-speed machinery reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Required to climb stairs and ladders; comfortable working at heights.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
How You’ll Stand Out
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering plus 4 years of technical maintenance experience with high-speed machinery reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Skilled in the use of SAP or other related CMMS, Microsoft Office Suite of tools, and data warehouses at a basic level.
- Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or equipment manuals/drawings, and writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Self-motivated with strong communication, organization, time management, detail-oriented skills, and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

- We offer a broad salary range to allow for long-term growth. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
